"Lashing Out!"

Another "Lashing Out!" cartoon for THE WRESTLER/INSIDE WRESTLING. This one is a tribute cartoon for a legendary wrestler who passed away last month. If you are a fan of the WWF glory days, (i.e. the 1980's), you may well remember S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones. He was a solid performer, but, more importantly, he was a wonderful stand up guy.

"HANCOCK"

I watched the movie HANCOCK, starring Will Smith, last night. His character has a very unique look in the beginning of the film, so I had to take a stab at him. It's funny, but this caricature turned out a bit more simplified than most of my sketches. I think it's because his character is pretty cartoony in the movie. Regardless, I'm fairly happy with this simplified piece.

Roll, Tide, Roll...

Being born and raised in Alabama, I am a BIG Crimson Tide fan. Each week, I do a little cartoon for friends and family as a good luck charm for the upcoming game. I fondly refer to this as "The Mojo". Well, this week's game was SO huge I had to post this here.

By the way, for obvious reasons, I have affectionately dubbed this game's piece: "MeauxJeaux". ;o)

Quick Sketch...

This dude’s been in the news an awful lot lately, pushing this brilliant "bail out" legislation – so, I just HAD to draw him. I’m constantly amazed at how much he looks like a toad. And it’s like the more angry he becomes, the more his neck fat inflates. So, here’s to you, esteemed U.S. Senator from Connecticut, Christopher Dodd. Good luck with the flies...

"Lashing Out!"

Another "Lashing Out!" cartoon. I've been doing a LOT of these lately. Sometimes, I hesitate to post these, simply because if you're not a wrestling fan you may not get the gag. Oh well, at least most people know who Mick Foley is, thanks in large part to his success as an author. And besides, this cartoon sure beats going a couple of weeks without posting anything! This cartoon is about him jumping ship from WWE, to the much smaller TNA.
Pic up a copy of THE WRESTLER/INSIDE WRESTLING magazine to see the printed version.
