Rey Mysterio Final Art
Here is the finished art for the Rey Mysterio piece. Rey is an awesome guy, good friend, phenomenal wrestler and one of the most athletic people I’ve ever been around in any sport! This was purchased as a gift and will be printed as an 11”x14" poster.

Eddie Guerrero Tribute
I was cleaning out my studio and found this artwork from 2005. Print size is 16”x 20”, and it’s an artist’s proof of an illustration I did for PWI Magazine as a tribute to my late friend, Eddie Guerrero. This is the ONLY print of this artwork available. No others exist. However, I have decided to sell it. If you’re interested in purchasing this artwork, please e-mail me at LashWCW@aol.com for details.

Happy Birthday Revilo!!
Happy Birthday to a great friend, mentor and one of the most talented people I know. If you’re not familiar with his work, you are really missing out. You can view some of his offerings here: http://www.hallmark.com/online/revilo/
Revilo is a genius when it comes to greeting cards and single panel cartoons. His unique slant and ridiculous sense of humor causes me to laugh out loud whenever I see one of his artistic offerings. There’s no question his rare talent is one of the reasons Hallmark Cards has been able to stay relevant after all of these years. So, here’s to you, my friend. May you have many more!

Drawn With Tiger’s Blood And Adonis DNA…
I have been ridiculously busy lately! That’s a great thing for business; but it has been mostly graphic design work, as opposed to caricature and illustration. So, once again I must beg forgiveness for taking so long to post any artwork. This sketch is a quick caricature of the totally bonkers, yet hilariously funny, quick quip man, Charlie Sheen. Here’s to hoping he can escape the ride before it crashes!

Cam Newton Painting

I worked on this painting for about two months. There are a few areas in it that I would love to spend more time on, however I had to call it finished so I could order prints in time for the BCS National Championship game. Overall, I am fairly pleased with the final result. My painting skills still have a long way to go, but I can see a vast difference in what I was capable of just a year ago. Here’s to improving in the New Year!

Another Editorial Cartoon

Just a thought that struck me during the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” debate: in a communal living atmosphere, which is common in the military, wouldn’t homosexuals and heterosexuals showering together be just as inappropriate as males and females showering together? As Letterman would say, “Things that make you go hmmmm….”

Steve Spurrier
Sorry it has been so very long since I have posted anything. I’ve had a bit of a medical scare in the last few months. For awhile, it looked as if I would be in a long battle with lymphoma. Thankfully, however, everything has cleared up and I am hopefully back on track! Here’s a little caricature of “The Old Ball Coach” Steve Spurrier that I recently painted before the Alabama vs. South Carolina game. Unfortunately, the “Mojo” didn’t work this time.

Latest Commission...

I've been extremely busy and haven't had a chance to post lately, so this is my latest commission. Canadian pro wrestling legend Super Tramp. This piece is more of a comic book style (by request) as opposed to my usual caricature work. It made for a fun change of pace.

Caricature Commission...
This is a caricature that was commissioned for a Valentine's Day present. The couple met while attending the University of Alabama, hence the view of Denny Chimes in the background. This piece was a little rushed, but I always consider it a success when the client is extremely pleased with the final art.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams

Once again, I have completed my toughest assignment each year -- Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Annual Year In Review. I'm called on to illustrate a big story in pro wrestling from each month of the previous year. Which usually means creating twelve 8x10 full color illustrations within a very short turn around time. The above image is a sneak peek from the upcoming issue.
Back in December, the wrestling world lost a legend, and I lost a personal friend. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams was one of the toughest, most athletic people I have ever met. And yet, he had one of the kindest souls. No doubt, fans will not soon forget him; and anyone that knew him on a personal level could never forget him.
