This was a quick caricature sketch I did this morning of my friend the Invisible Man, Frankie Garfield. I am extremely pleased that I was able to capture such a great likeness. Frankie loved it!

Chris Benoit Tribute
This is a tribute I created for THE WRESTLER/INSIDE WRESTLING after the death of Chris Benoit. Despite the horrific facts surrounding the case, it is impossible for me to remember Chris as anything other than the warm hearted family man, friend and mentor that I personally knew him to be. As a result, I decided to depict him in a manner that I felt wasn't overly positive or negative, but allows everyone to draw their own conclusions. Hence, my inclusion of the names of the family members and the question that I think was on every fans' mind, "Why?".

Warm Up Sketch
This is a quick sketch of my best friend, Cooper, and his lovely wife, Amanda.
I love doing caricatures. There’s something extremely satisfying about capturing a good likeness in a humorous way. Especially, if the person is instantly recognizable to family and friends. You can’t look at a good caricature and not smile!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Pro Wrestling Illustrated
Every year, Pro Wrestling Illustrated calls on me for their PWI Annual. Basically, I create 12 full page cartoons illustrating the "big story" from each month of the preceding year. The issue covering 2007 should be hitting newsstands any day now.
One of the highlights of January, was The Undertaker winning the Royal Rumble. As an homage to the great Norman Rockwell and his painting "The Tattooist", I drew The Undertaker having his opponents names tattooed on his arm and subsequently crossed out.
I thought it might be fun to give a little glimpse of my work in progress. So, I've posting some images of the illustration from the initial sketch phase through some of the color work. I'll post the final artwork once this issue hits the bookstores.

Eddie Guerrero Tribute
Thanks for popping by! My name is Lash LeRoux, I am a former professional wrestler turned illustrator. If you are a fan of professional wrestling, you may remember me from my days of appearing on national television with WCW, WWE (nee, WWF) and TNA, where I wrestled as the "Ragin' Cajun" Lash LeRoux. While wrestling for WCW, I created a cartoon feature for WCW MAGAZINE: "Lashing Out!". My wrestling cartoons still appear in each issue of THE WRESTLER/INSIDE WRESTLING, and in the PWI ANNUAL, soon to hit newsstands; which features 12 full page illustrations of the "big stories" in wrestling from the previous year.I decided to start this blog after being both inspired and impressed by the many artist who publish their work in their daily blogs. My hope is to see my artwork mature and improve from the feedback and critiques I recieve from those who are kind enough to stop by and comment.
The image below is a tribute piece that I did after the untimely passing of my very good friend Eddie Guerrero.
