John Cleese

I havn't been doing a lot of caricatures lately, which is really what I enjoy doing most. So, here is a sketch of legendary "Monty Python" comic John Cleese. As always, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Great one, you should paint him.

Thanks, Patrick! I'm a great admirer of your work, so that means a LOT to me coming from you!

I haven't had a lot of practice in fully rendered digital paintings, although my goal is to reach that level in my work. Most of what I’ve learned about digital painting has been from blogs like yours and Jason Seiler‘s. Perhaps, I’ll take your advice and try to tackle this piece and paint it. I’m sure it would be a great learning opportunity for me.

Nice work Lash - you have the manic expression perfectly - one of the world's funniest people.
