Another Editorial Cartoon

Just a thought that struck me during the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” debate: in a communal living atmosphere, which is common in the military, wouldn’t homosexuals and heterosexuals showering together be just as inappropriate as males and females showering together? As Letterman would say, “Things that make you go hmmmm….”

I will happily and respectfully debate anyone on any issue. Of course, that would require you to crawl out from under your "anonymous" shadow in order to take part. However, just a word of advice: If you wish to challenge me intellectually, being able to clearly articulate your beliefs without using profanity would be helpful to your cause.

A few years later, and none of the doom and gloom BS has happened. The military is just fine, to the surprise of absolutely no one (er, well, no one who isn't icked out by gay people to begin with). Willing to admit you were wrong about this one, Lash?

And by the way, perhaps you'd care to address the fact that gays and straights have been showering together in the military for YEARS before all of this. The only difference - literally the only difference - is that gay people WHO WERE ALREADY GAY TO BEGIN WITH can now be open about their own orientation without being discharged.

Care to show me statistics on gay rape in the military between when DADT was implemented and when it was abolished? There were still gay people in the military, so surely there must have been a lot of gay rape, right? Right?!

You're dumb, Lash. I'm sorry, but you are just wrong and dumb and things here.
