This is a warm-up sketch I did of conservative radio host/Fox News talking head, Sean Hannity. I have a lot of trouble with values. That's something I've really been trying to work on.
Looks great. The likeness is nicely done. One useful values exercise for me is to place the drawing over a middle gray background then build up the whites and darken the darks until you have the full range of values. Jason Sieler has a few great examples. It's good practice. Keep the new stuff coming. Its good to have a tough guy among us soft artists. And thanks for visiting.
